General Hospital 50 Year Anniversary Marathon

OK.  You are catching me in another guilty pleasure:  I watch General Hospital.

April 1, 2013, is General Hospital’s 50 year anniversary.  To celebrate, SOAPnet is running a 50-hour GH Marathon, beginning on Friday, March 29 at 10:00 p.m. EST and continuing for 50 hours until 12:00 a.m. EST on Monday, April 1st.

• Luke and Laura’s 1981 wedding;
• B.J. dies, and Maxie is given her heart (1994);
• The 2005 train crash in the tunnel;
• The Metro Court hostage crisis of 2007;
• Robert’s brother, Mac, arrives in town in 1991;
• Robin is by Stone’s side as he dies in 1995;
• Lucky learns Nikolas is his half brother in 1996;
• Frisco and Felicia marry in 1986;
• Sonny leaves Brenda at the alter at their 1997 wedding;
• The Port Charles Hotel burns down (2004); and
• 1996’s “click-boom”: Jax and Brenda marry as Lilly dies.

These are all pivotal events in Port Chuck which are referenced often so be sure to watch.
